WZRDS is the largest PFP collection on-chain with a supply of 111,111 pieces. The goal? Onboard as many people as possible for the most affordable price. The Problem? Bitcoin fees. Fees for inscribing have been steadily increasing in the last few months, making free mints cost up to hundreds of dollars. The Ordinals ecosystem's explosive growth and rising Bitcoin price will only make it more expensive with time. To achieve our goals, we have utilized recursion by inscribing our traits upfront and thus reducing file size and inscribing fees by over 90%. This method allows us to effectively lower the cost of single and especially bulk WZRDS inscribing, making it a lot cheaper compared to a standard free mint for the end-user. We collect 22k sats per high-quality WZRD inscription to fund all further expenses, securing a healthy burn rate for the next 2 years. Luminex Launchpad fee is 13,000 sats and the size of the inscription with BRC69+ is around 3,000 sats with network fees. The total cost of inscription is less than 50,000. Meanwhile, we save you a ton of sats in fees compared to a "free mint" of an average 150kb file size per inscription. For example: 150kb at 30 sats/vB is equal to 1,125,000 sats. This is more than a 20 times increase in total cost! We believe the future of PFPs is in high supply and low entry collections due to the previously shown factors. The ordinals space is still relatively small, and what we aim to do is onboard new people from other chains looking to experiment.
